I dont expect FGL to maintain the price, unless the takeover bid is for real.
I've done quite well out of FGL, considering I got most of shares for free when BHP span them out.
The lesson here for FGL's management is that no matter how good your assets are (and in this case they are quite good) you have to manage your business well and achieve high market valuations, otherwise with those private equity mobs on a rampage, no underperforming assets are sacred.
