"Great management"

This is an issue, because before Terry Davis took over CCL was a comedy show.
Therefore, how long Davis sticks around is important.
You would have to assume that the good work he has done at CCL would not have gone unnoticed by the yanks at KO, or indeed other boards in Australia (he was touted as a possible replacement for Roger Corbett at some stage, which is a big wrap, but he was unavailable).

What comes after him will be important, but hopefully CCL will have learned a permanent lesson of how to maximise value from what is fundamentally a great collection of assets.

As for the shorter term, the weather has been hot, and the people I talk to at the shops said that they were selling 3 times the amount of soft drinks yesterday than on normal days.

Anyway, the share price has vindicated my decision that $6 was far too low a price for CCL earlier this year.
The next significant event will be the full year results early next year.
At the end of the day, only the scoreboard counts.
I do not however expect negative surprises. CCL have been upfront with warnings, and there hasnt been one.
It also appears that the Indonesian economy has rebounded strongly.
