Geelong ran in numbers all day-you would not have got the full picture on the TV, you needed to be there to get the full extent.
CATTERS also used much more body weight in the contests and Port was pushed aside too eadily down back and up forward. More even in the centre but Geelong used numbers. Geelong won the ruck but the Burgoynes etc roved to them, then Geelong gang tackled them immediately.
Home and away minor premiers, best end of season % ever, VFL Flag, Rising Star, 9 All Australians, high winning margin in a Grand Final, Norm Smith Medal. Pretty conclusive stuff. yippee!
Met another old die hard like myself after the game-we both thought we would not see '63 again. We are both exstatic and content.
