Eddy may have built up ABS from scratch in a time of cheap and easy credit and exceptionally strong sustained econ growth in Australia. However, at the first sign of rough economic weather, Eddy's shoddy workmanship was exposed. Anyway, the point is who is the best person (team) to lead the company into the future? Certainly not Eddy. The market (permanently, I suggest) has lost confidence in him.
