Actually, in July last year I had a telephone conversation with one of the "renewable energy and storage" guys at Tesla here about Eden's battery possibilities etc.. He told me that there is always very serious interest in all the latest developments on the energy storage and performance fronts. Therefore, and at the appropriate time, and in order to ensure that my actions are not contra productive to Eden's own business plans, I plan to hand further discussions directly over to Eden. Having said this, perhaps it would be worthwhile trying to ensure that Elon Musk is at least informed about Eden's battery possibilities. You never know he might also be interested in Eden's other technologies like Hydrogen, EdenPlast, coatings and rubber. I will give this some thought (it may, however, be extremely hard to get direct access to Elon Musk).
With regard to Eden's developments on the lithium-ion battery front, and with special regard GS's recent statement to Reuben Adams at Stockfeed that: „the performance of cathodes in lithium-ion batteries are dramatically improved if you use carbon nanotubes instead of the graphite“, it is probably a very suitable time for you and the other "good" folks on HC to take a look at SGL Carbon's "graphite based battery solutions" brochure (if you have not already seen it?):

Although SGL Carbon is well ahead of Eden, as well as being significantly larger, their graphite based battery solutions have not yet had much of an impact on the mass market, whether it be for mobile phones, electric vehicles, home storage etc.
I believe that GS's recent comment that „the performance of cathodes in lithium-ion batteries are dramatically improved if you use carbon nanotubes" is a direct reference to the fact that Eden already has its own CNT based battery technology. Proof of the existence of this technology, as well as other CNT based technologies etc., can be found on page 24 under "Growth Strategy" in EDE's recent ASX "Investor Presentation" announcement (https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20190131/pdf/4427xp20wtnhpn.pdf) where it clearly states: "Emerging interest in Eden’svarious technologies forcoatings, rubber, batteriesand hydrogen". If all these technologies did not exist, it would be it would highly inappropriate to make such a claim.
Although Eden is currently 100% devoted to ensuring the successful roll-out of EdenCrete, which is to be highly commended, it would appear that given SGL’s foray into the battery market, as well as the urgent search by Tesla, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, Toyota, General Motors, Ford etc. for vastly improved battery performance and thus significantly increased driving range, there is a huge window of opportunity here for Eden to enter the battery scene as well. Failure to do so will give rivals like SGL the opportunity to dominate the battery market, even with a potentially substandard product, simply because they got there first.
Generally, "decreased speed to market" gives the competition the advantage, when it comes to innovation, of allowing them to reach customers with new products, services or offers. This is why it is imperative that EdenCrete gains massive traction this year and EdenPlast is rolled-out asap, and that it also quickly gains significant market acceptance. Once EdenCrete and EdenPlast are both well established, Eden can then enter the highly lucrative and massively expanding battery market.
