MB, it looks to me that Elon Musk's Tesla EV venture might 've accelerated the transition to EVs by the established MV industry. It will be interesting to see if his EV company survives competition from the more established car manufacturers. It's ironic and a bit unfair that pioneers in new tech often fall by the wayside and those who follow benefit the most. I read recently that a Californian University has developed an improved electrolysis process using sea water whereby the cathode -normally quickly eroded by salt- is protected to a large extent from this erosion leading to more economical production of hydrogen. I apologise for not getting the link [perhaps someone could do that if they've read the article?]. Whether it turns out to be better than EDE's process remains to be seen as it doesn't produce CNTs as a byproduct. As you've pointed out CNTs lead to more efficient charging of batteries and hydrogen is shaping up to be a viable and preferred fuel. To my mind, EDE might prove to be attractive to a forward-thinking entrepreneur like Elon Musk whereby if he wanted to move into hydrogen-powered vehicles [ cars and rockets ] and build better batteries then a company like EDE would fit nicely into his portfolio, either as a partnership or takeover prospect. All it would need to pique his interest, in my opinion, is a well-informed person versed in financial markets and industry economics- possibly based in Germany- to have a quiet word in his ear. Who knows? If anything were to come of it, the share price might move up a pip or two..
