Amazing how most GMC investors can only post drivel and insults, how about some sensible discussion for a change.

ConcernedCitizen, I would like to point out that SiMn is often used as feedstock to produce refined alloys like LC and MC ferro manganese. I'm not sure why GMC management aren't producing LC or MC FeMn via this method, but can only assume that its due to the higher power requirement for the process.
SiMn is cheaper than FeSi. Its also possible that GMC could produce its own SiMn for feedstock but again it takes considerably more power plus GMC will only have two furnaces for production at this stage. Its possibly cheaper in the long run to buy the FeSi, but the cost as I've tried to point out is 50% more than the GMC's estimated costs which are well out of date.
