YC, I believe there is no carbon credit for harvested trees...

    YC, I believe there is no carbon credit for harvested trees although the government is working on it to classify the end use, so some of the end products can carry the carbon credit, such as timbers, and wood chips, etc.

    If you grow oil seeds trees, or plants, and use the residual biomass to general power, you can get renewable energy certificate, but no carbon credit.

    This is what I heard of.
