Is the large amount of FUM at GMO macro not a hindrance to future performance or is that not really an issue for macro funds.
Often in small cap funds, the newcomers excel in first few years as easier to outperform with less FUM. Or is that not an advantage with macro type funds.
Which is why I've been looking at Two Trees. Given the 4 guys there are all ex GMO macro fund, and their leader was head of research at GMO for 10 yrs, they aren't newbies at it.
