I am operating on the presumption that you guys are not connected with Glencore.

The company is publicly listed and there will be daily bids for your shares - take them if you like.

But I will point out that some years ago, Maltlin Patterson backed by Twiggy acquired one third of the company by way of takeover offer for $90 M and then sold it's stake on market for $290 M within one year. If it waited longer, it would have got $1 billion.

One of Twiggy's henchman told me my best option was to sell to MP. That course of action would have cost me around $1 million

Glencore has a plan to make money here and it will be at your loss if you sell to them at the bottom of the cycle.
