But only IF it is a potentially viable project.  It's fairly dismissive to state that "I know there are heaps of differences between the projects" when in reality it is like comparing dirt to diamonds;

Winchester South - JORC 356 Mt Resource, including Leichardt and Vermont seams. MDL 183 19,952 Ha, with approx. 13.4km strikline on western and eastern side of the syncline. Whitehaven has indicated 7.5-15.0 Mtpa ROM production over a 20-30 years life with 3.5 to 7.5 Mtpa (around 50% yield) of coking and thermal product.
Isaac River - No current JORC Resource, target Leichardt seam with some reservation on Vermont seam due to quality (but possible blend material) – refer to BCB announcement 4^th December 2017.  Exploration program.  MDL 444 433.129 Ha, with approx. 1.9km subcrop strikeline.  EPC830 222.188 Ha (including overlap with MDL444), with approx. 1.6km subcrop strikeline. The area over which the drill holes are shown in the 4^th December BCB press release is around 2.34 km2, and BCB state seam thickness range of 2.0 – 5.5m Leichardt with in-situ RD 1.42-1.50 (lets say 1.45 on average), and so in-situ tonnes in MDL 444 IF COAL IS PRESETN WITHIN ALL OF THIS AREA is potentially between 4.7 and 12.9 Mt in-situ !  There could potentially be a doubling of this in EPC830.  For a 10-15 year mine life this would mean scale of 0.3 – ~2.0 Mtpa ROM – which may not support cost of new infrastructure.
So we are talking a totally different length of subcrop, area, distance to rail line, potential JORC Resource and mining scale – at best its around one tenth of Winchester South, at worst perhaps one twentieth (or far less if IR simply isn't a viable project).
