I have applied to change my name on HC so I can concentrate on what I believe to be more important which is to fast track medical research which is currently being delayed due to various reasons and some to do with a shortage of funds. The Fed Govt idea of setting up a fund us great however not so great that they wish to do what most funds of this type do is to grow the fund by delaying medical research until after their fund has grown to $20'billion if I understand it correctly.
All delays in medical research are almost criminal against the better good of mankind when we have so manyclever medical researchers in Australia marking time while they try find funding. It's all time lost and delays in medical discoveries which lead to other discoveries. Conducting research sooner can imo shorten the cycle of discoveries.
Anyway my aim.is to get money into important research sooner not in 10-20 years time.
