St. John’s Wort – A 2004 animal study found that St. John’s wort was twice as effective as ibuprofen as a pain-killer

    Load of crap.

The study looked at the intraperitoneal (i.p.) administration of 30-100 mg/kg of the preparation produced significant analgesic effect (75%) in acetic acid induced writhing and formalin licking tests.
To begin with IP administration in mice is seen as being an unreliable way of administering drugs to mice.

However if you want to inject yourself with this whenever you have been injected with Acetic acid , go ahead.

I will take an oral pain killer.
