Totally agree about the spin doctor required bit!
This company prides itself on being so squeaky clean,
nothing is released until it's triple checked so that it does not imply anything that can't be substantiated straight away.
No bells and whistles, no hip hip hooray's, but
you are right on the money with what they have got,
and potentially what it is all worth.
I know they won't use words like MASSIVE-Sulphides in announcements for example, even if they discover 'massive sulphides', which by the way has happened previously!
My broker is in to the stock in a big way, and is also very close to the action at all times.
He reckons ultimately $1 to $2 per share, and he also reckons when it happens, it will happen so fast that if your not in, you wont be able to catch it!
Hence, I am in quite large, and just like you I get frustrated by the seemingly oblivious market reaction re GIR.
However, the best is all in front of us, as the spin offs won't be happening till shareholders vote on proposal this month some time. Therefore, if your holding, I would suggest you stay that way for now as you just may find youself holding 4 or 5 pieces of scrip in the new spin-offs, for the cost of your original GIR investment.
Also Snake Well Assays surely must be ready soon, based on previous advice, as would further news on the x4 holes that Heathgate are particularly interested in at GIR's 'U' tenements, next door to the Beverley Mine in S.A. Don't know much about the iron ore, but will find out if I can!
Whether in production or not, it's not relevant to GIR's SP, as usually they broker farm-in agreements where-by the minor partner ends up paying for the majority of costs associated in the applicable tenement. And lets face it, GIR does have some of the best dirt, and reserves of the worlds most valuable and sought after commodities.
So, in my 'informed' opinion, keep the faith as it will
be well rewarded and worthwhile in due course, sooner than later.
One good thing with GIR is it is tightly held by quality investors, and as such, you won't have to compete with dare I say it 'massive' day trader pump and dumps when good news does hit!
I'll keep this thread informed as to the progress every opportunity I get in the meantime,
    wrxsti
