The answer lies in Evatoski's post...much of the market is not aware of the Zinco in specie distribution by Giralia or the upcoming Carpentaria Exploration listing with priority to Giralia shareholders.

I suppose not all traders read company announcements or have the patience to hold a stock until an impending in specie distribution occurs.

"The 40 million shares held by Giralia are subject to an escrow for a period of 24 months from the date that Zinc Co shares commence trading on the ASX. However, the ASX has agreed to vary the terms of the escrow to allow the distribution in specie to occur. All shares distributed to shareholders as part of the distribution in-specie (with the exception of any shares distributed to related parties or promoters of Giralia or Zinc Co) will cease to be subject to escrow after the distribution."

"The Directors of Giralia Resources NL advise that the Company has decided to support the proposed listing of its wholly owned subsidiary Carpentaria Exploration Limited ("Carpentaria"), in a $7.5 million Queensland based IPO to be headed by former MIM and Inco executive Nick Sheard. Giralia will vend in its Queensland and NSW copper-gold-uranium and nickel projects, and will meet the costs of listing of Carpentaria through loans to be repaid from the proceeds of listing. Nick Sheard has commenced the development of an exploration portfolio and will inject these additional properties into Carpentaria.
It is anticipated that Giralia shareholders will be entitled to priority IPO application rights, with details to be confirmed at a date closer to the lodgement of the Carpentaria prospectus."
