I am not sure I understand the logic of ignoring the Cu credits. DRM will (well at least should) be mining in a way to achieve the lowest overall AISC. Let's say they had two ways to mine: 1. Minimised the AISC without Cu credits or 2. Minimise the AISC with the Cu credits. Would we be happy if they were ignoring the copper to chase the lowest AISC pure gold leads?
Bottom line is profit is profit. A large part of the value of Deflector is the copper credits.
One thing I would like to see explored is the potential of X-ray sorting of the ore. This might have a very significant effect on the AISC when chasing the narrow veins and it is something that is relatively easy and cheap to add on.
