ConnerEx I feel that is a very astute post by you , I had never thought of dissecting the AISC cost by taking out the Cu credits over time - sometimes HC has the rear gem of a post as in the case of yours
Not sure if the company has hedged its Cu , if it has that could mitigate the potential distortion on the efficiency of their model .
Maybe a chart showing sensitivities to different Cu grades Cu prices , exchange rate changes , would be interesting to see , although to me the differing Au head grade had the biggest effect on AISC as reflected on the downgraded head grade over the years from initial scoping study with Mutiny through to the revised head grade for Life of mine last year. I feel the head grade forecast hit bottom and could possibly be revised up if they keep finding high tenor splay vaines plus novel techniques like split shot firing and using narrower single boom jumbos to reduce dilution on narrower vaines .
Maybe total tonnage would be decreased and possibly even a slightly lower total ounces but whats the point of processing barren rock or rock that is less than cut off grade .?
