Yes but there is no info in those updates regarding the gassiness of the coals. 4 metre seams do not neccessarily rule them out as a CSG play, especially if they are gassy. In fact, from the open briefing, "as the Gwydir-1 well was a slim-hole core hole it has no potential in terms of future gas production." Which is clearly a comment on the size of the corehole, not the gassiness of the seams.
So my point is, how can the indepenedent expert say they're not commercially viable if the gas content etc... is not known?
Unless I've missed somethng previouly (which is entirely possible) I can't work out how they came to this conclusion without that data which hasn't to my knowledge been released to the market.
