Your last paragraph that is pretty much spot on with what I was thinking. MV don't have to answer to anyone but themselves so their 12,000lbs figure must be pretty close to what they can get in reality
I also agree with the estimate of around 240 units for MV. We know RGI plan on using 240 units in their first growing facility which is the same size as MV's. We also know the machines sell for around $10,000 each which would make the $2.3m figure pretty close.
I feel like MV, Amfil and EuroAg have gotten lucky by ordering their units early as it seems RGI's focus has shifted from being a supplier of the machines to being a grower/JV partner of growers.
I'm not sure we'll see RGI selling units to customers without getting a share of the customer's company or profits (Gibio and Freshero as a perfect example).
Also look how cheap the directors are! The annual report is saying they're taking bugger all for a wage if I'm reading that correctly.
