long term potential questionable
On the surface this looks like a fairly attractive stock, trading at roughly 12 times pre abnormals earning (eg not counting the severe drought this year).
But then I think, what is abnormal these days? With more and more evidence emerging that global warming is indeed real and happening, we may see more droughts in future years that make the one we just had look tame. The ice sheets are melting, sea levels are rising, and weather patterns are becoming increasingly erratic. Dear me.
What are others' opinion on this?
