I view this thing as a LPT, with a retail business added-on .......it also has a finance arm (similar to SIV / TGA) .......
over the last 5-yrs - the stock has gorne "sideways" ........
over 10 yrs - its 250 to 3.20 ......
its basically a trading counter for int rates with a kicker from retail/finance .....
the "best" thing that G could do would be too work out how to get capital out of the business to then drive the ROA / ROE ......
will be interesting at the AGM .......I (personally) expect to see a downgrade .....but that is only imho
