With Germany opening up subsidies to all German States including NRW and 3 or 4 that jumped on later this will allow a broader reach of customers to sell into at the national level. Hopefully they have a good marketing strategy with the limited resources at hand.

German boost for Ceramic Fuel Cells
    Thursday, 08 January 2015 21:47

Ceramic Fuel Cells Ltd says that the new German funding framework for microCHP units is positive news for its BlueGEN units.

Highly electrical efficient systems will receive additional funding of up to 85 per cent of base funding. This means that a BlueGEN unit could get €3,792 in Federal funding, more than double the previous level. Combined with other incentives a Blue GEN buyer could receive up to €11,376.

In November 2014, Ceramic Fuel Cells raised nearly A$180,000 via a rights offer at A$0.009 a share. The cash will be used to increase marketing spend, fund research and development and provide working capital.

At the beginning of the year, Ceramic Fuel Cells received a deposit of £350,000 which will enable the commencement of the supply of BlueGENs to iPower. The first installation is this month and 55 units will be installed by June and the other ten by September. The units are installed free to customers who pay for gas and maintenance costs and receive the benefit of electricity generated and hot water produced. A second programme could start before the end of 2015.
