It is worth having another read of Bob Cameron's presentation to the 2009 AGM on 27/11/09. Among the goodies were references to future projects. e.g. Airly 1.8 mtpa export thermal with 1st exports Q4 2010. Newston Lochiel with maybe 4 mtpa - pre-feasibility due Q4 2010. Add in exploration at Angus Place; Inglenook and Lidsdale Siding.
Export coal may well come from switched domestic production or it may come from new mines or it may come from both.
