Good question. I have asked GER for an explanation since I am also a shareholder there. Sounds from the announcement that a consultant recommended it to them on the basis it is (currently) more widely used. A bit lame if that's the only reason they can provide. I would accept a justification on the basis that its more efficient over a certain temperature range as these technologies may have sweet spots at certain points. It could just be the consultants are pushing a vendor they happen to have a relationship with - I hope this isn't the case.
