PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy plans to build four geothermal power plants next year with a combined capacity of 135 MW, in Lampung, West Java, and North Sulawesi.
As reported by Indonesia Finance Today yesterday, “PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero) in the development of geothermal energy, plans to build four geothermal power plants next year. Slamet Riyadi, President Director of Pertamina Geothermal, said the company needs funds to Rp 1.9 trillion ($200 million) for these projects.
The four plants to be built are the Ulubelu project with a capacity of 55 megawatt unit 3 in Lampung, the project at Kamojang with a capacity of 30 megawatt unit 5 in West Java, and the Karaha Bodas geothermal power plants with a capacity of 30 megawatts in West Java, and the Lahendong plant with a capacity of 20 megawatt Unit 5 at the North Sulawesi.” Source: Indonesia Finance Today
