Hey there cuppa & WAG. Sorry to interrupt, just wanted to say glad you guys are not using paper for this discussion - would be an obscene waste of trees
My question would be how many punters really make a worthwhile profit by investing $10K to make $500 (less costs). From my reading the % of traders who actually stay in the green over a 12 month period (and even then not even make enough to warrant doing it as a full time job) is in single digits and low ones at that. Just me but why would you risk your own money looking to pick up 5 or even 10% on a penny dreadful that can fall off a cliff at any time. Surely better to go up market to mid caps where you can at least begin to put a bit of science into the trends - and no that is not a good argument for consolidating the likes of IMM.
I understand people are doing it (trading little fish) - just not with my money thanks. I equally understand that buying and long holding a penny dreadful is high risk but at least the risk reward scenarios are worthwhile. Too each their own. Happy investing and when it comes to drinking and driving - simple - just dont drive.
