Our differences in sentiment lie along the lines that in order for the things you mention to affect BOQ they would also have to affect the entire financial sector. The first and foremost to be affected would be WBC that has the largest exposure to the housing market.

Perhaps paying less attention to the headline bad news of the day would be of assistance to you. I know it has been for me. Where I used to listen to  Australian talkback radio all day and fill my mind with negativity about the hot political topic of the day I’ve avoided it for a while now and while I can still be alert to major developments, the pointless commentary of everyone having an opinion is muted. No more HC political debate (or very little) for me.
