I'm with you Paydirt. I made an early New Years resolution a couple of months ago on BOQ and it is as follows. Save 2.5k and look at what is on offer in the market. Today BOQ has yet another stock take sale so I add another 250 BOQ shares on a current 7.9% yield. I'm not concerned about the chaos in the markets one little bit in fact I embrace the chaos because this is what is providing the long term buying opportunities for investors. Even if the divvy is slightly reduced in the future then the return is still way better than cash in the bank. Also not worried about capital erosion because I'm a long term holder. Currently have 8500 BOQ fully paid for shares and looking forward to getting another 1500 and happy to settle on holding 10000 before re-evaluating and deciding whether to keep buying or diversify and finding the next undervalued company. Gotta love the banks and never thought as a Victorian that I'd be buying into a Queensland bank!!!
