Attended the General Meeting yesterday. Very small gathering - directors and others who all seemed to know each other. Very impressed with the leadership - Haghighat, Thomas and Pannuti (who incidentally is MD of another co in my portfolio HCG). The Company will in future be called "iSonea" - a well thought out name: i = intelligent/innovative, son = sonar (sound), ea from apnea Greek word for breathing; so - innovative analysis of sound and breathing. I challenged Haghighat re the lack of a SPP when they were proposing to place millions with prof & soph investors. He said it would be obligatory to have a SPP and we should expect a development on this in coming months. He also talked of an impending deal with a significant global leader which would open global networks including the US. There was discussion that a similarly advanced co in the US would have a market cap of $50m to 75m and that $200m to $300m was where we should be aiming. A key priority will be to seek an upgrade from a Category 3 to a Cat 1 code (there is no Cat 2) which will open doors to many more KOL. This will require additional trials and will take time. All in all some very positive messages with announcements expected in coming months.
