I understood your concern. Personally I would never click a link that ask for money or never download a free PDF file that ask me to put personal information including email. There are enough free information on those links and sites are not listed as "potential risk/threat". Https site (first one) got a valid certificate. Only reason I put link instead of copy paste content is because of my copyright awareness. These guys put so much effort writing quality article, they deserve the internet traffic.
