Inference from collating the info from DH1 and the stages of depths they were reaching, I calculated roughly 50m per 7 days from DH1 previous announcement timelines after reaching 300m relatively quickly.

22-25/1 - DH1 commenced
6/2 - 300m
13/2 - 354m
20/2 - 401m

If it was 465m (as at 11/3) & basement is estimated at 750m. To achieve a similar intercept as DH1 it would mean hitting Li brine in the next 93m.

7-8m per day at depths of more than 300m based on info above. That gives a timeline of 11-13 days until reaching a depth of 558m.

So that would indicate if nothing is announced by 24/3, then DH2's intercept (if any) will be less than DH1.

Bear in mind they announced last time when they were 65m into the Li brine, so that could add extra time.

That rate of drilling does seem slow, but it would be difficult at the altitude.

What sort of drilling rate could be expected at this depth in this type of geology, if no teething problems?
