So... let's see if I've got the summary of the past two days of posts right
- We kick off with a Milestone company ANN
- First hour is high fives and woo hoos (rightly so!)
- Then before the hour is done, the "why are people selling" comments start
- And within 1 1/2 hours of opening posts start about CR's
- And at the 2hr mark, we start with posts about "there's no where to put the ponds", "it's only a tributary (so not big enough)" and the pros and cons of ponds v direct extraction
blah, blah, blah
Fast-forward to today and the content is getting very low with personal attacks on ground floor/well researched posters.
I'm not the posting police... so knock yourselves out (I do wonder about how people get their jollies in this world.... yet alone those who bemoan and lament the negatives, but then only skim over the rare positives that plonk themselves front and centre in our lives.)
Me - I like to stop and smell the roses... so apologies I haven't posted this earlier then now...
OMG - In case any of you haven't already realised it, yesterday's ANN was the birth of GLN, and those holding were all there for the delivery.
On Tuesday, GLN was a company with a theory and a vision going cap in hand hoping they could get people to believe in them.
On Wednesday, GLN became a company with an asset that investors can understand and relate to, and will be prepared to put their faith (and hard earned) into.
The all important question was answered yesterday, is the blue/purple stuff on the CSAMT going to be brine that I can pickle my herring with, or is it brine that will power my EV, mobile and cordless drill??
Sure there's a way to go yet for the company to build the asset and implement/deliver strategies and outcomes that will realise shareholder returns on their investment, but the most critical company building step has been achieved.
So moving forward, we can expect the highs and lows that go with investing, and we'll have to endure the trolls that come out of the wood works (which seems to me already started yesterday) - but for now, I'm going to ignore all that and take the time to enjoy this rare event... one of those moments in your lives where you can say "I was there!"
@billyen - thanks for being the person that bought DMI/GLN to my attention.
@mattilla - full credit to you for being the person that helped me understand the science/evidence that was telling us what lay beneath the surface.
I hope both of you had a great day yesterday .
