Just to recap and surmise what I think is happening with GXY's recent exploration wells... (note that I don't follow GXY closely enough to have an intimate knowledge of their going on's, the below analysis has been gleaned from reading relevant GXY anns).
Sept Quarterly, pg 4 (link: https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20181018/pdf/43zc9bjpj13qy1.pdf)
They advise they've completed a well in their southern tenements and will be doing another two holes in Q4.
Nov Presentation, Slide 26, This is again referenced with a comment that new wells will assist with better understanding the nature and extent of brine (link: https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20181116/pdf/440brcpbtc8vj4.pdf)
So in summary, they intended to do 4 wells in 2018; I assume these are referenced as SVW18_24, SVW18_25, SVW18_26 and SVW18_27.
The below map from GXY ANN 26 Nov shows the location of their various wells. Note that SVW18_24 is up in the north and I've marked where I think the other three wells are located in the south: https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20181126/pdf/440m90g285fsyy.pdf
In the latest quarterly, GXY advised that they've made progress on two of the three new wells (ie #25 and #26)... it seems they've had some delays, and I assume still intend to proceed with the third well (ie #27). https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20190124/pdf/4421rf0xd8tn8z.pdf
(Note: #26 is reported as having achieved depth of 183m, though it's unclear if that's as deep as it will go, or if that was where it was up to as at this report, but they may still go deeper? I suppose we'll have to wait for further reporting on these wells?)
The attached satellite image shows where I think the fresh water SVWF12_20 is located, and then where I think wells 25 and 26 are located. I don't know where well #27 was intended to happen, though I had previously thought on the satellite images that it looked like two wells were in close proximity to each other at #26, and going by GXY's well locations in the above map, it seems they have a history of drilling two wells in very close proximity to each other?
And then just to finish off, the below map shows the location of GXY's wells in relation to the tenement borders between GXY and GLN.
