From what I gather(not an expert on these matters and saying these in layman's understanding), EV is now here. Big battery makers will have supply needs that will not be served if not enough lithium is produced. To be able to produce, lithium juniors need funding. Current needs for fund are being done by producers themselves at the moment. Car manufacturers still do not know much of the lithium operational process to actually plunge headlong into financing lithium junior operations and/or undertake OT arrangements. Hence negotiations take time. But once a customer is secured through an OT and/or funding arrangements, it will be a lifelong relationship.
in my view, AGY management is moving forward, albeit slowly, in negotiations with potential car manufacturing partners. Along the way, there are problems. Whoever said life is easy.
Personally, I have lost big with my average at 24c. But as Shania Twain says, It don't bother me much. Volume currently is not really that huge. Why? My guess is a lot are just not worried, just sitting tight. When one invests looking at sp thinking, oh it is time to buy, it is worth more than that and then finds the sp goes down, it will hurt. Then, tells everyone his sentiments, ummm fodder for the day trader.
AGY is not a fictional company. It is real. When we get bad or no news, we start to think oh has management made up their stories in announcements? again, IMHO I trust management every step of the way. It was not that long when the President of the country gave its support to the company. Now, why would he do that if AGY is just a pigment of one's imagination.
It does hurt when sp is down after all the good things done. But, if it is any consolation, I have seen this happen many times before. And in all those times, it came back up and more. Never mind forecasting how much it is gonna go to or even speculating how much it is worth, it is going to go up. And it is not going to go up because of higher lithium prices, it is because AGY will be a producer with a car manufacturer as a partner, all IMHO.
