I went against all the analysts several years ago and loaded up on ENV as it was dipping from 75 cents to even lower.
I remember sitting in an internet cafe in Edinburgh thinking what do the analysts know that I don't? Why was the market pounding ENV when I was buying? The answer in hindsight was nothing- certainly taught me what a load of crap most of the analysts dish out.
ENV has paid me a yield of 13% (based on the price I got in), and now I've got the pleasant problem of a big capital gain.
Got to be about the safest income flow around. They don't even have any transmission pipelines - it is all low risk door-to-door stuff. Much of the distribution is tax deferred.
I wish there were more around.
The only catch is I don't know if I would buy it now or wait for some kind of retracement, if it ever happens again.
