Well, whatever happens, we are one month into the three month period where they can make the placement.

The period within which they can make a placement expires on 23/2/10, three months from when approval was reluctanly given.

In the meantime we await news on Italy (what is happening with the Borsano permit which was due to expire on 26/11/09?), news on the size of the Kiliwani North gas discovery, news on the commencement of drilling in the Coronie block in Suriname and lastly confirmation of plans for the drilling of the horizontal well on the Lidsey oil field.

On the plus side, oil prices have stabilised and gas prices have improved.
