I think the management of Austin Exploration should be given respect for the conservative approach they are now taking in running a small oil exploration/production company. The landscape is vastly changed with oil prices at the low levels they currently are at. Yes they could spend money logging wells to announce flow rates etc but it doesn't change the fact as to what the flow rate will actually be.
Austin is a counter cyclical play, it may take 2-3 years for oil price to see some decent recovery and by that time we should see good daily production figures from Austin. This is not a pump and dump play (unless you are a day trader) but for the patient, the rewards will be worth the wait. Do your own research and you will quickly come to the conclusion this is possibly thes best value oil producer on the ASX. Not all of their previous decisions have been perfect but in a perfect world, they never are. And for those who jump to the conclusion I am insider, you are wrong. Am in the top 20 shareholders and will be here for the long haul.
