you're investing in a spec stock, effectively throwing money on the table for a 'possible' chance of a return, and people get all stroppy and over concentrate on other people's reactions, and their attitudes, then they feel annoyed or pissed off at other people, with their same bet, and their money on the same table, hoping for a possible return. It's a funny game - played well by all, and entertaining for the most part.
