Garden Island solar installation progress, Christmas Eve edition! 2017-12-24 (one month ago):
If you compare that to the previous image up thread (2017-12-05) you can clearly see that there are now solar panels in the lower left area, where previously there were none.
I count 17.5 rows of panels installed, that leaves 61.5 rows to go (if I didn't lose count).
Assuming that they started installing panels on the 6th, that's around 1.3 rows per day. That's a pessimistic estimate since they may not have started installing panels until much closer to Christmas. For arguments sake, lets say 1.5 rows a day. At 1.5 rows per day the remaining 61.5 rows would take 41 work days from after Christmas. But who knows, maybe they can work much faster than that -- if it was twice as fast they could be finished real soon.
In any case, look forward to some nice photos of at least 17 rows of installed panels in the quarterly report.
P.S. I traded out recently to try to increase my position during the next red rocket. I'm not sure whether that will work out.
