    "Tabcorp said its wagering system processed almost 40.9 million transactions across NSW and Victoria on Melbourne Cup Day.

    At the peak on Melbourne Cup Day, Tabcorp was processing 531 bets per second in Victoria and 661 bets per second in NSW."
