I had mine removed No issues. In a small % of cases Laparoscopic removal misses the bile duct blockage if there is one. I have Meds in the family and they arranged ultrasound and Xray on the table prior to closing to check bile duct
Your body will now produce a constant stream of bile and this is best balanced by eating similar foods every day not pigging out on fat one day then starving yourself of fat. this will cause loose bowels.
