Galan Lithium chairman acquires $200,000 worth of shares

The transaction aligns the chairman with shareholders and is a vote of confidence in the company.

Maiden drilling begins this month at the Hombre Muerto Lithium Brine Project

Galan Lithium Ltd’s (ASX:GLN) non-executive chairman Nathan McMahon has exercised $200,170 worth of 14-cent options.

The options exercise resulted in McMahon adding 1.42 million shares to his overall position in the company of over 6.1 million shares.

McMahon specialises in Native Title negotiations and project acquisition due diligence and has provided tenement management and corporate advice to the mining industry for over 25 years.

In mid-December 2018, Galan received permits to conduct the maiden drilling program at its Candelas Lithium Brine Project in the Hombre Muerto salar in Argentina.

Receiving the permits was a significant step forward for the company in Argentina.

At the time, field activities in preparation for drilling had already commenced, with local contracts for drilling, camp establishment, operational health and safety, catering and technical assistance soon to be awarded.
