"The claims 1-23 lack support. The claims are directed to a method of preparation of alumina from any type of aluminous materials using any type mineral acid as leaching agent. However specification teaches only aluminous clay such as kaolin as starting material and HCL as mineral acid. The process steps would considerably vary depending on the starting material and the leaching method used. Therefore the claims encompass possibilities beyond the applicant contribution over prior art and hence lacks support."
