I'm not sure if management has ever posted here but I doubt it. They always thought of themselves as being above the little people - to the extent that they hardly knew what was going on in the design office. Very much an 'us and them' mentality in my opinion.

I don't have any info about the involvement of Fox but it would need the whole industry to come around to the brake concept for it to be feasible. The problem is truck brakes are already fail-safe and easy/cheap to maintain.

Your mention of military applications reminds me, before I was there in 2003 the company was approached by the makers of the Humvee army vehicles to develop a brake specifically for the hot, sandy conditions as the concept was perfect. The company was GIVEN a Humvee vehicle to work on which sat in the yard totally ignored - the case was put in the 'too hard' basket. Eventually the manufacturer got sick of asking what was happening with the brake and rook their vehicle back.
