Yes I think the comments told as much (or more) as the article did. I particularly liked the comment that went something along the lines of "why they are spending so much building weapons, for wars they should not be in." Their comment, not mine.
No doubt there are plenty of unemployed US citizens wondering why they can't get unemployment benefits while so much spending is going on in other areas of the world. Of course the comments only come from a small cross section, but interesting all the same.
Hopefully the ASB glass is half full. Mop.
