I invested in this knowing it was going to be a gamble, but hoping that the geology is what we're looking for. If they go bankrupt and die off? Oh well, not a big deal, I put as much as I'm willing to lose into this and will be unphased either way it goes, it's what you have to expect with high-risk ventures like this.
I'm not foolish enough to gamble with money I need in a company like this, and I doubt anyone serious enough about the game would be putting anything they couldn't afford into something as risky as this. If it's gonna win, it's gonna win big, so you don't need to put a lot in to do well over the next few years if that's the case.
Constructive analysis of companies can often be useful, and I think your skeptical approach is reasonable.
All the people hoping this will boom like PLS, IMHO it's not worth putting your hopes into something like this - if you want to take a calculated risk with high possible return? Sure, go for it, it's what I've done.
But don't kid yourselves that this will be an insta-winner, be realistic.
I've got ADV and MPJ, if one of them manages to survive I'll be pleasantly surprised
I'm a kid who got lucky by putting a very small amount in EDE in '13, I'm not looking to make a lot of money, I'm looking for the challenge of market analysis, and if I make some cash along the way then great.
