Plough, what you say could be true of most people who are action-oriented. Perhaps its Newton's Law of "equal and opposite reaction" and all that.
If we take a pragmatic view of issues to date, I suspect we should assign direct accountability only to areas which BJ controls.
For instance, he cannot control the Mac Bank stuff ups...only react to the known facts.
He couldn't directly control the stupidity and irrationality of the wacky junior partner...only react to the known facts.
BTW, I hope he goes after them with the litigation six guns blazing.
I'm actually very comfortable that he is a hands on, kick tyres type of guy, especially when we have entered his area of expertise...and you're right, AAM and IGR are great examples of what can happen in the tricky construction/development phase. HEG is another example that comes to mind.
