Wonder if Mackey Sall has had a word with Xanana Gusmao just to get confirmation on how WPL operate.
Interesting the PE preliminaries line up with FID, wonder if that is just coincidence or good management. Anyway it would be perfect timing to introduce another major and have a change of operator.
My gut feel is there could be four majors taking a close interest on how this might play out. Total, BP, CNOOC and, Petronas,
One thing is certain if PE goes in FAR’s direction no need to wonder about where the development funding is going to come from.
