I read somewhere that one of the main considerations is what's for the good of the country. Now I would suspect that everything would have to be above board. I am just wondering if there is anything in this deal that's not? But we still have to wait for all to be revealed.
FAR is the one that got Senegal the oil, not COP or CNE. They were merely the ones that turn the drill bit.
I would suspect that Mal would have a fair bit of loyalty towards FAR and would be able to see any unfairness if any.
Like you, I don't think FAR is the one that's sweating. Just annoying that all these law courts, and not just the ICC either, take so long to read a few pages. But once we have the preliminary hearing, which way it's going to lean would be fairly clear I should imagine.
