I have been expecting a pullback on the US equity markets but not expecting any market crash. $1275 on gold held last night. We are now back to a tight consolidation range 1268-1310 range. If you extend all the way to July low and Aug high, the chart pattern is a symmetrical triangle which doesn't define the pattern of directional bias.
What is obvious to us is the relative divergence between the sector and the gold price. I hope the Ozzie front runners on price of gold stocks are saying what is a precursor to where gold price will be heading in the near future.
